A free two-day music and ocean conservation festival takes over SeaWalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach on Friday, Sept. 11.

Florida Fin Fest runs Friday, Sept. 11, and Saturday, Sept. 12, at Latham Plaza and SeaWalk Pavilion, 11 1st Street N. The Friday session opens at 5 p.m. and Saturday's programming begins at noon, according to the Jacksonville Beach city calendar.

General admission is free. VIP ticket upgrades are available through the festival's website at flfinfest.com, though pricing has not been posted publicly.

The festival combines live music across two stages with hands-on ocean conservation exhibits and educational programming. The event's organizers describe it as an all-ages gathering featuring nationally touring artists and local favorites, along with eco-friendly exhibits and food trucks, according to the Fin Fest lineup page.

Three acts listed in a 97.9 KISS FM Facebook post promoting the event include Andy Frasco & The U.N., Magic City Hippies and Future Joy. The band Future Joy confirmed its Friday performance on its own Facebook page. Ten food trucks will line the venue, with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for sale, according to the radio station's post.
