Dutch Bros Coffee has filed permits for a $1.3 million drive-thru kiosk at the Harbour Village shopping center on Atlantic Boulevard. The location would be the chain's closest to Neptune Beach and Jacksonville Beach.
Jacksonville is reviewing two permits for the project at 13475 Atlantic Blvd., the Jacksonville Daily Record reported. One covers $700,000 in horizontal site development on 0.42 acres. The other covers the building itself at an estimated cost of $1.3 million.
Kiosk Design Calls for Dual Lanes, No Seating
The planned 986-square-foot kiosk would sit on an outparcel in the parking lot to the left of the shopping center's main entrance, according to a site plan from landlord Phillips Edison & Co. Inc. The kiosk would feature dual drive-thru lanes and a walk-up window. No seating is planned.
Bear Global Construction of Bradenton is listed as the contractor. Galloway & Co. of Atlanta is the architect, and Z Development Services of Orlando is the civil engineer.
Shopping Center Sits Near Queen's Harbour, Anchored by Fresh Market
Harbour Village, at the northwest corner of Atlantic Boulevard and San Pablo Road near Queen's Harbour Yacht & Country Club, is anchored by The Fresh Market and Crunch Fitness. The chain's five open Northeast Florida kiosks are in Baymeadows, St. Augustine, Saint Johns, Southwest Jacksonville and West Jacksonville.
Chain Has Expanded Rapidly Since Entering Region in 2024
The company, founded in Oregon in 1992 and now based in Tempe, Arizona, announced plans to enter Northeast Florida in 2023 and opened its first area location in August 2024 in St. Augustine. As of June 30, Dutch Bros operated 1,225 locations in 25 states, including 39 in Florida. The Daily Record has reported on a dozen more potential Northeast Florida sites beyond the five already open.
The nearest Dutch Bros project to the Beaches before this filing is a former Starbucks conversion at 14355 Beach Blvd. near San Pablo Road, where the city issued a permit June 24 for a $991,632 buildout, according to an earlier Daily Record report.
No opening date has been set for the Harbour Village location. The permits remain under city review.
