DONNA Marathon sweepstakes offers free VIP trip to 2027 race

The DONNA Foundation is giving away a VIP trip for two to its 20th marathon weekend at the Beaches, with free entries open through Dec. 1.

The Atlantic Beach-based nonprofit's "Love in Motion" sweepstakes packages a three-night stay at the Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic near the Beaches, two race entries to any event on the schedule and access to exclusive gatherings during DONNA Marathon Weekend 2027, set for Feb. 5–7, 2027, in Jacksonville and the Beaches.

The winner picks from the 5K, half marathon, marathon, Booby Trap Challenge or Ultra Marathon. The package also includes a Friday night reception, a Sunday finish line viewing party and complimentary race-day shuttle service to and from the beach.

Entries close at 11:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 1, and the winner will be notified Dec. 2. Entrants must be 18 or older. The sweepstakes is a partnership between The DONNA Foundation, Visit Jacksonville and the host hotel.

20 years at the Beaches

The 2027 race marks the 20th running of DONNA Marathon Weekend, which launches from SeaWalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach. The weekend also features the DONNA Dash and the Pete's Bar DONNA Crawl. Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan, a three-time breast cancer survivor, founded the race series in 2008.

"I look forward to running beside so many of our friends, family, supporters and survivors next year," Deegan said in a July 14 press release announcing the milestone season.

The foundation says more than 300,000 athletes have crossed DONNA finish lines over two decades, and the organization has served more than 22,000 families and invested more than $3.3 million in breast cancer research. The weekend generates more than $4 million in annual economic impact for Northeast Florida, organizers told News4Jax.
